Roof Family Foundation Scholarship
Scholarship to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies. Applicants must be a first time in any college (FTIAC) student who enrolls in an occupational program with the intent to complete a program of study at Monroe County Community College and immediately enter the workforce. Recipient must be a full-time student at MCCC during their scholarship year. Full-time enrollment is defined at twelve (12) billable contact hours or more during the fall and winter semesters. The scholarship will be awarded equally between two (2) consecutive school years and divided between each the fall and winter semesters of each year. The scholarship will be awarded to a first year incoming student who is a resident of Monroe County, Michigan, a United States citizen and a graduate of a Monroe County, Michigan high school. Preference should be given to a graduate of Dundee Community Schools, Dundee, Michigan. The recipient must have at least a 2.8 GPA. The scholarship will be renewed for a second year if the recipient has earned a minimum of twenty-four (24) billable contact hours and has maintained at least a 2.8 GPA.
