Jacqueline “Jackie” Joy McGhee was a 1980 graduate of Monroe High School, where she ran track and attended Monroe County Community College . She worked as an Enforcement Specialist in the Special Prosecutors Office in Monroe County for over 25 years. Jackie then went to work as a manager at Walmart in Monroe from which she retired.

Jackie attended the Worship Center in Toledo and was a member of MCOP and the Opportunity Center at Arthur Lesow Community Center. She also sat on the City of Monroe Zoning and Planning Commission and worked at the University of Michigan stadium for football games. Jackie enjoyed skating, bowling and playing softball. She had a wonderful voice and sand in several choirs and was well known for signing the National Anthem at various events. Most of all, Jackie loved time spent with family.
