The Miller Family and Friends

The scholarship was established in memory of PFC Dennis J. Miller, Jr., who served with the 2nd Infantry Division in the United States Army, and who lost his life while serving in Iraq on November 10, 2004. A former MCCC history major, Dennis withdrew from classes to join the Army.

To honor his dream of returning to Monroe County Community College to study history, this scholarship was established by his family and friends to benefit a student studying history at MCCC.
