The Family and Friends of Chelsea Bruck
Family and friends of Chelsea Bruck have established the Chelsea Bruck Memorial Scholarship at Monroe County Community College to serve as a positive reminder of Chelsea – a young woman who had hopes and dreams and a full life ahead of her. Tragically, Chelsea’s life was cut short, but her legacy will live on through this scholarship.
Chelsea struggled during school, and she was just a couple credits short of her high school diploma. At the time of her disappearance, she was researching GED programs and talking about enrolling in culinary school. The scholarship is being created by an initial gift from search and fundraising donations. The funds will provide scholarship support for an MCCC student enrolled in the Culinary Skills and Management program and will give preference to a student with a GED.
It is the intent of the Bruck family to raise a minimum of $20,000 to establish an endowed scholarship to honor Chelsea’s memory in perpetuity.
Contributions in Chelsea’s honor can be made online by visiting: http://www.monroeccc.edu/foundation/bruckmemorialscholarship/
Gifts can also be sent by mail to The Foundation at MCCC, 1555 S. Raisinville Road, Monroe, MI 48161.
