Noel H. and Elizabeth R. Dentner

Noel Herbert Dentner was born in Columbus, Ohio. He was one of eight children born from the late Herbert and Marian Dentner. He married Elizabeth in 1972. Noel earned his Master’s Degree in education and was a business professor at Monroe County Community College. He was lifelong member of the Christian Science Church of Toledo, Ohio, past chairman of the Library Board of Summerfield-Petersburg Community Library and past vice-chairman of the Commission on Aging for Monroe County.

Elizabeth June (Russell) Dentner was born in Lenoir, North Carolina, the daughter of Charles Richard Russell Jr. and his wife Elizabeth Link. Elizabeth valued education. She graduated from Hillsdale High School in Michigan in 1960; received a BA in home economics from Hillsdale College in 1964; received her MA from Eastern Michigan University in guidance and counseling in 1968. She was a home economics teacher at Mason Consolidated Schools in Erie and was a counselor in student personnel services at Monroe County Community College in Monroe.
