Marvin and Jean Baumann

Marvin and Jean Bauman recognize that in today’s job market it is essential that a higher education be obtained to assure a good career. They have supported Monroe County Community College since its inception. It was their goal to one day provide for an endowed scholarship for their community.

Marvin graduated from Monroe High School in 1953 and has taken classes at Monroe County Community College. Jean was a 1958 graduate of Ida High School. Marvin is retired from La-Z-Boy, Inc. and currently sits on the La-Z-Boy Foundation.

They know that this scholarship will provide future students a source for a higher education especially those students who otherwise may not been able to afford it.
