Joyce Noseworthy, Ashton Noseworthy, Ashleigh Rippee and the WAN Foundation
William A. Noseworthy “Bill”, – August 28, 1965 – July 11, 2017
Bill was interested in providing scholarships in his honor for local students. This is something he expressed during his battle with cancer. He was passionate about education and believed that everyone should have access to resources to help them succeed.
Bill worked as a skilled tradesman for various companies in Southeast Michigan. Bill was wonderful with people and building relationships; he enjoyed coaching and mentoring his own children as well as many others. He always instilled in the kids to seize the moment and get good grades, as “knowledge is power”, that was his famous line.
Bill was passionate about education and athletics and the WAN Foundation, which provides this scholarship, is one run by his beloved family in his honor. This scholarship is a testament to Bill’s commitment to make a difference in his community. The funds raised through the foundation/non-profit organization support youth athletics and academics in the community he loved so much, Monroe.
WAN Foundation also provides assistance to families in a battle with cancer. WAN Foundation & its supporters are so grateful for the opportunity to carry out Bill’s wishes and honor his life by providing scholarships since his passing and for the ability to continue to do this at MCCC long into the future.
